Firework Exhibition at Church Farmhouse Museum

September 2004

2 October 2004 sees the opening of the The Explosive History of Fireworks exhibition which runs until 6 February 2005 (Closed 24, 25, 26 December and 1 January).

Admission to the museum is free. Church Farmhouse Museum is situated at Greyhound Hill, Hendon, London NW4 4JR (Tel: (020) 8203 0130).

Exhibit at the exhibition of Eileen Amabilino's firework memorabilia at Hendon

The exhibition at Church Farmhouse Museum is based on the extensive private collection of Eileen Amabilino. Through photographs, prints, postcards, advertisements - even scrap albums and cigarette cards - as well as hundreds of examples of fireworks from the nineteenth century to the present day. The Explosive history of Fireworks presents the remarkable history of peaceful pyrotechnics.
