CHARITY WORK BY FIREWORK COMPANY

January 2005

Forest Fireworks Limited staff and volunteers presented two Cheques of £1,300 each to charities at Carriages 5344, Milcote Crossing, near Stratford upon Avon on Tuesday 12 July. Guests celebrated with sparklers. This means the successful Charity Bike Ride raised £2,600 for the two organisations.

Motor Neurone Disease Association and Warwickshire Reminiscence Action Project, both based in South Warwickshire, benefitted.

Wendy Strophair, Company Secretary, said it was a great pleasure to generate a significant sum this year to help both charities, and for so many people to enjoy a bike ride along the Greenway route.

The Carriage in the background of the picture was chosen as the venue because it was a welcome stop on the route for riders to sample Jane's all day breakfast and cool drinks - and it fitted in to the theme of Reminiscence which one of the organisations supported.
