Fireworks: Theory, Practice and Performance offers a basic introduction to the subject for aspiring fireworks display technicians and those professionals who wish to reinforce their existing knowledge.

About the Author
Chris Pearce obtained his MSc at Birmingham University and, following an early career in teaching, he became involved in the firework industry full-time in 1997. His company, Jubilee Fireworks, have gained a world-wide reputation and are twice-winners of the Gold Jupiter award at Montreal. Chris conceived the ‘Festival of Fireworks’, which has run annually since 1999, and he was Chairman of The British Pyrotechnists Association for a five year period – during which time he developed the BPA Training Scheme. He has written numerous technical and popular articles on fireworks and has been adjudicator and technical consultant for The British Musical Fireworks Championships since 2004.
